    How It Works

From one 10-minute survey to context you can use across workforce decisions.

CoreInsite is deliberately simple to run and deliberately careful about what it claims. Here is the full path from a completed survey to the moment a manager makes a call, plus the science and trust commitments behind it.

    The Process

    Five steps, start to finish.

    1. 1

      Complete the IMPACT Survey

A structured, privacy-conscious survey completed in about 10 minutes. Progress is saved if left incomplete. Participants answer questions about how they prefer to work. There are no trick questions, and no right answers.

      Completed once per person.

    2. 2

      Identify workstyle patterns

Responses are translated into consistent patterns across the six IMPACT dimensions, providing context for how someone may approach decisions, communication, collaboration, structure, pace and change.

Patterns describe tendencies, not fixed traits.

    3. 3

Interpret patterns in manager and team context

The same individual profile reads differently alongside different managers and teams. CoreInsite interprets the profile in the context of the actual manager, team and decision.

Context is what turns data into insight.

    4. 4

      Provide insights and questions

Output is written for the person making the decision: strengths in this setting, where friction could appear, and specific questions worth exploring in an interview or a one-to-one.

No score. No ranking. No recommendation to hire or reject.

    5. 5

Reuse the data across later decisions

Once someone is in the organization, the same intelligence supports onboarding, team design, development conversations, mobility, and planning.

Collect once, apply across the workforce journey.

    Method

What the survey measures, and what it does not.

Plain answers to the questions buyers, participants, and works councils ask first.

    What does the survey measure?
Self-reported preferences about how a person approaches work: pace, structure, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and response to change.
    What does it not measure?
It does not measure intelligence, aptitude, health, or personality disorders. Protected-class information is not used to generate IMPACT results.
    How precise are the results?
Results are validated. They describe likely tendencies and should be treated as one input among several, alongside experience, evidence of work, references and interviews.
    Can results change?
IMPACT identifies relatively stable patterns, not fixed labels. Results are designed to remain useful over time, although meaningful changes in experience or circumstances may occasionally justify completing the survey again.
How does CoreInsite support fair and responsible workforce decisions?
CoreInsite is designed to inform workforce decisions, not automate them. It does not rank people, issue pass/fail outcomes or replace human judgment. Access is permissioned by role and purpose, and our approach is grounded in validation, fairness testing and responsible use. Fairness & Responsible Use
How is CoreInsite used responsibly in employment decisions?
CoreInsite provides decision support, not automated selection. Validated results are used as one input alongside experience, work evidence, references and interviews. CoreInsite does not produce pass/fail scores, rank candidates, or make hire or reject recommendations. Protected-class information is not used in IMPACT scoring. Validation, fairness, and data-handling documentation is available for client review.

    Who Sees What

    Access follows role and purpose.

Individuals control the release of their results. Each stakeholder sees only the information appropriate to their role and the purpose of the workforce decision.

    The participant

Their own results in plain language, framed as self-understanding rather than judgment.

    The hiring manager

Context about how this person may operate with them and their team, plus questions to explore.

    HR and talent leaders

Consistent context across candidates and teams gives conversations a shared language, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of talent.

    Executives

Aggregated patterns at team and organizational level, never a leaderboard of individuals.

    Science & Trust

Useful intelligence is honest about its limits.

Workforce decisions affect people’s livelihoods. CoreInsite is built to add context that a careful decision-maker can act on, and to be explicit about what it does not know.

    Patterns, not verdicts

CoreInsite describes how someone is likely to operate and identifies strengths and potential limitations in context. It does not label a person as inherently strong or weak, and it does not produce a hire/no-hire recommendation.

    Context over comparison

A workstyle pattern is not meaningful in isolation. Insight is always framed in the context of a specific manager, team or decision.

    Transparent to participants

People completing the survey are told what it is, what it produces, and how it will be used in decisions about them.

    Human accountability

Every decision has a named human owner. CoreInsite never automates selection, promotion, or exit decisions.

    Fairness and Responsible Use

    How we reduce misuse.

    • Built on scientifically validated constructs, with ongoing adverse-impact review.
    • Insight is written to prompt exploration, not to justify exclusion.
    • No pass/fail cut score is applied to candidates, and no candidate is screened out automatically.
    • Aggregated organizational views are reported at group level.
    • Protected-class information is not used to generate IMPACT results.
    • Ongoing compliance validation.

    Privacy and Data Handling

    How participant data is treated.

    Purpose limitation
Data collected for workforce decision support is used for that purpose and communicated to participants.
    Role-based access
Managers see information relevant to their decision, not an individual’s full history.
    Data minimization
The survey collects what is required to produce contextual information and nothing beyond it.
    Participant access
Participants can see their own results in plain language.

    Human Accountability and Limitations

    Boundaries we hold to.

Workforce intelligence is only useful if people trust how it is applied. These constraints are part of the product, not a disclaimer bolted on afterwards.

    • CoreInsite supports people decisions; it does not make them.
    • Results describe likely operating patterns, not ability, intelligence, or worth.
    • Validated results should be combined with experience, evidence of work and interviews.
    • Every decision keeps a named, accountable human owner.
